There are a number of group leader positions available at the Center for Genomic Regulation, National Center for Genomics Analysis (CRG-CNAG) in Barcelona.

The junior group leader positions are ideal for young researchers starting their career as independent researchers. Senior positions are for more stablished researchers, with already demonstrated leading experience. We are specifically aiming to recruit a leader in Medical Genomics, which could eventually develop a larger research program in this discipline. All positions are supported by a generous and very competitive package.

The CRG is located at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) with six other institutes including a newly created EMBL Outstation. Barcelona ranks among the top european cities to do science. It is also a great place to live. The capital of Catalonia, it is a cosmopolitan city, rich in history, culture, art, sports, food, .... It has lively streets. It is socially and politically strongly motivated. A rich and complex environment, which is intellectually very stimulating. Catalonia has great outdoors, and within one day trips you can find yourself in a secluded beach or hiking a solitary peak. Skiing is within two hours drive.
