Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit are recruiting.  We are looking for 2 statisticians on the UE07 salary scale (£32,004 - £38,183).

The Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit is within the Usher Institute at the University of Edinburgh.  We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Trials Statistician to provide statistical expertise to clinical trialists through the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) including oversight of trial processes, analysis and reporting of trials, and meta-analysis, working closely with senior statistical colleagues in the Usher Institute.

Applicants must have MSc or PhD (or near completion) in medical statistics plus considerable experience relating to the design, conduct, analysis interpretation and reporting of clinical trials and or meta-analyses. Demonstrable experience and familiarity with the statistical regulatory guidelines relevant to clinical trials and statistical analysis software (SAS programming, in particular, would be an advantage) is also essential to the post.
