Biosketch

 

Post-graduate training in Epidemiology and Statistics as Johns Hopkins Public Health School Courses in cohorts, logistic and survival analysis in collaboration with Barcelona Council and Environmental Statistics Diploma in Lancaster and Valencia Universities. Clinical Good Practices and Clinical trial analysis courses.

More than 25 years of experience in the field of consulting and analysis of data in health sciences and organizing and participating in postgraduate training activities in Public Health institutions (Valencian School for Health Studies)  and University (Alacant and Miguel Hernández)


Experience as researcher in competitive projects at national and international level, Collaborating with the most recognized statisticians and epidemiologist in HIV Cohort studies(Cascade, HIV-Causal ;Cohere,Eurocord).

Evaluator of Research Projects for National Evaluation Agency and other Public institutions.

Participation in several scientific journal and societies boards.(SEE, SESPAS, Gaceta Sanitaria)  Over 180 scientific publications

Currently, Head of the Statistics and Biostatistics Unit at Vall d’Hebrón Research Institute ( VHIR), one of the most important Hospitals
in Catalonia.
