I graduated in Mathematics from the University of Barcelona in 2006. The same year I enrolled in a Master in Advanced Mathematics and subsequently I started my PhD studies. I obtained the doctorate degree in Mathematics in 2011 under the supervision of Professor Carles Rovira.

I joined the INRIA research center of Nancy (France) for one year and 4 months, supervised by Professor Samy Tindel, after obtaining the PhD degree.

In June 2014, I obtained the Lector accreditation (Catalan government accreditation equivalent to ANECA "ayudante doctor" accreditation).

At this point I decided to continue my education and deepen my background in Statistics and in 2016 I obtained the Statistics and Operations Research master’s degree of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-Universitat de Barcelona. This master has driven me to new areas of research, many of them with important practical applications and where a theoretical probabilistic background is greatly appreciated.

I have decided to join to the new research project "Advanced statistical methods for survival analysis and omics data".

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics (Statistical Section) at the University of Barcelona.

My research is on goodness-of-fit tests for right-censored data and with stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion.

Research areas:

Stochastic differential equations

Survival analysis

Fractional Brownian Motion
